Cornflakes chiwda A great Indian snack to be enjoyed at any time. basically a sweet and savoury spicy snack or mixture recipe prepared from crunchy cornflakes. Ingredients: - 3 tsp olive oil / any cooking oil 1/4 cup peanuts 2 tbsp roasted gram dal 1/4 cup cashews 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup almonds few curry leaves 1/4 tsp turmeric 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp chaat masala 1 tsp Castor sugar salt to taste 2 cups ready to eat corn flakes Instructions firstly, in a large kadai roast cornflakes without oil till it turns crisp then keep aside. heat olive oil saute in peanuts on low flame, till it turns crisp. also add roasted gram dal and saute for few seconds. further saute cashews to golden brown now add raisins and few curry leaves. saute till raisins puff up and curry leaves turn crisp. add turmeric, chilli powder, chaat masala, sugar and salt to taste. saute on low flame for few seconds. now add 2 cups ready to eat corn flakes and cook for about 5 min. Corn Fritter INGREDIENTS 2 Cup American corn 2-3 tab Gram flour besan 2 tab semolina 3-4 Green chilli 1/2 tsp Red Chilli 1 tsp Coriander powder 2 tab Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/8 tsp Asafoetida 1/2 tsp fennel seeds 1/4 tsp carom seeds Salt to taste Oil to deep fry INSTRUCTIONS In a mixing jar add American corn and green chilli with 1/2 cup of water and make coarse paste. In a bowl Add gram flour, semolina, red chilli, coriander powder, asafoetida, fennel seeds, carom seeds, coriander leaves, salt, ground corn paste and mix well. If needed add some more water.  The consistency of the batter should be medium (not too thin, not too thick). Heat oil in a kadhai and once it is hot put small portions of pakoda mix for frying. Keep frying on low-medium until golden brown. Take out pakoda on tissue paper so that excess oil remove. Serve with chutney and sauce.

Dal dhokli Dal dhokli is traditional gujarati dish! a perfect combination of spiced whole wheat flour dhoklis simmered in Gujarati dal, this can be classified as a sumptuous one-pot meal. Ingredients For The Dhoklis 1 cup whole wheat flour salt to taste 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/8 tsp asafoetida 1 tbsp oil whole wheat flour for rolling For The Dal 1 cup toovar dal salt to taste 2 tsp lemon juice 2-3 finely chopped green chilli 1 tsp chilli powder 3-4 stick curry leaves 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp ghee 1 tsp oil 1/4 tsp asafoetida 1/4 tsp garam masala 2 no. Finely chopped onions 2 no. Finely chopped tomatoes Chopped coriander and onion for garnish.
